AnyCompiler

About AnyCompiler

AnyCompiler is a small, free tool for writing and running code in the browser — 16 languages, no installs, no account. Pick a language, write something, hit Run, and see real output from a real compiler or interpreter.

Why it exists

Testing a snippet, checking how a language behaves, or following along with a tutorial shouldn't require installing a toolchain first. Most of the time you just want to know what a piece of code actually does — this exists to answer that in a few seconds, in a browser tab you already have open.

How it actually works

The editor is Monaco — the same editor engine behind VS Code — with per-language syntax highlighting and snippet autocomplete. When you hit Run, your code is sent to Judge0, an open-source sandboxed execution engine that actually compiles or interprets it and hands back real stdout, stderr, exit status, timing, and memory numbers — not a simulation. The frontend is built with Next.js and React.

There's no database of user accounts, because there are no user accounts. Your code is processed to produce a result and isn't tied to any identity. See the Privacy Policy for the specifics.

Who's behind it

AnyCompiler is built and maintained independently, not by a company or a team — one person adding languages, fixing bugs, and keeping it running. If something's broken or missing, the Contact page is the fastest way to reach me.

What's supported today

JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, C, Go, Rust, TypeScript, C#, PHP, Ruby, Kotlin, Swift, R, Perl, Bash. New languages get added when Judge0 supports them and there's a reason to add one — let me know if you're missing one.
